What is Plasma Skin Tightening?
Plasma Skin Tightening is a cosmetic treatment that uses plasma, an ionized gas, to tighten loose skin non-surgically. The treatment is low-risk and non-invasive with minimal downtime (5-7 days) and is much more affordable than surgery.
Plasma is the fourth state of matter. Using a plasma device to convert a current into an electrostatic pulse transmitted through a disposable metal tip, C02 gases on the skin converts the energy to a Plasma Flash.
This superficial point targets the skin creating a controlled burn.
This process reduces the volume of skin, pulling the cells closer together and tightening the targeted area leaving a series of carbon deposits strategically placed to attain the desired result for the reduction of excess skin.
What is it used to treat?
Plasma Skin Tightening can treat a number of imperfections without any actual cutting of the skin.

What can I expect from a treatment?
Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to minimize discomfort. You may feel some heat in the treated area which may be
uncomfortable and slightly irratating.
Immediately after treatment the area may be red and mildly swollen with small carbon crusts (dots). You may experience a sensation similar to a sunburn which may last for a few hours. Swelling may intensify over the following few hours. It is normal for sensitive areas such as eyelids to become more swollen and last for 2-3 days. Only the aftercare products provided will be allowed on treated areas until ALL CARBON CRUSTS HAVE COMPLETELY HEALED.
To avoid unpleasant side effects it is extremely important to follow the AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS diligently following your treatment.
How long do results last?
The positive effects of your treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment and continue to improve up to 6 weeks. As Plasma Skin Tightening is more than a simple tightening treatment, skin is actually removed, so the effects should last as long as they would with invasive surgery.
Areas such as crows feet and forehead lines and wrinkles are controlled by the muscle movement. They should be followed up with Botox as the movements will cause the lines to return quickly.
How many treatments are required?
The number of treatments required will vary according to the area being treated, skin's laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individuals response to the treatment. Most clients see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks. Further treatments can be carried out to get better results. Appointments (done in same area) must be spaced out by 8 weeks.
